He explains the science behind it: "Two-component means we’re not just putting our finished coats on there. We’re adding a second component, which is a catalyzer to harden it, and it gives durability, makes it last forever." This meticulous process, involving precise mixing by weight and ratio, ensures a robust, long-lasting finish that resists chipping, especially in high-wear areas like around sinks. Eddie prides himself on delivering a "cabinet finish, and it's going to look like a piece of furniture," ensuring all repairs are done correctly, not just quickly. "Just because that’s all I know how to do. I came out of a cabinet shop. I didn't come from a paint company," he adds, underscoring his specialized expertise.

Demand Samples: Perhaps his most crucial piece of advice is to always request samples. "Samples. I think samples is the biggest thing. Like, you want to see a sample of what you're getting before you get it," he states. Eddie makes it a practice to always bring a sample to consultations, believing it can get him "25% closer to getting the job."
